A startling revelation has emerged from a recent report, shedding light on the dire situation of adults grappling with eating disorders in England. The National Audit of Eating Disorders (NAED) has uncovered a deeply concerning disparity in treatment access, with adults facing an arduous wait of up to 700 days for essential care.
